On December 2, 2006, we went up to Grandma & Grandpa Rice's for a family dinner. Chuck and I went up the day before and Dave/Erica and Brian/Andrea came on Saturday. I brought a honey ham and made cornbread casserole. I helped Grandma make Green Beans and Mashed Potates. Erica brought a relish tray, Andrea brought soda and Angela brought a homemade Apple Pie (oh, and Mike made brownies). We had quite a feast.
After lunch, all of the above referenced family members plus Dad, Uncle Dick and Aunt Pat attended the premier of the "Rice Family Photo Album". I finally finished my slideshow of 300 family pictures (by date) and with music. I even bought a microphone and added some voiceover. I was fairly happy with the way it turned out.
After the premier, some napped (Dad) and others played cards or visited. We left about 5pm and got home around 8pm. This Sunday Dad is coming to spend the night on his way out of town. He is getting ready to take a long road trip to New Mexico. He said he wants to go to some "Missle" museum, see the peublos and stop by and see the aliens in Roswell.
