Day 2 - Talkeetna campground

We spent our first night in the RV in Talkeetna

We spent our first night along the river in Talkeetna. Talkeetna was supposedly the inspiration for the TV show "Northern Exposure". Talkeetna primarily provides air taxi service to Mount McKinley for the climbers. The area around the base of the mountain is a swamp so most climbers take a plane to base camp and climb from there.
